Ole Aale (2024)
A fun-filled ride of a father-son relationship that takes you through rediscovery of self and beautiful acceptance of life and its ways!
What should I begin with - Impeccable humour and comic timings of all actors? Beautiful emotions that hit you right in the heart? Wholesome songs throughout the film that bring a hugeee smile on your face? This film has so much to offer and I was not prepared for the most of it.
The screenplay & dialogues of the film were crafted beautifully, staying true to the story and its needs throughout. Nana Patekar (Omkar Lele) is just human magic on screen, what he has done in this movie is unmatchable and each scene of him screams perfection! Makarand Anaspure (Baburao) although for a shorter time than others is still remarkable in his comic performance as always! Sayali Sanjeev (Kaira) a cherry-on-the-top element in the film and an aptly portrayed character! And Siddhart Chandekar (Aditya Lele), this guy - choosing amazing scripts one after the other and winning people's hearts with each one, killing it in every role and only becoming better with time! I have immense love for all these actors and whatever they've brought to the table that has enhanced our film experience.
The only thing that I felt could've been a little more helpful is showing more of Aditya's workoholic side in the beginning. The soft turn that his character takes in the later part of the film would have been more impactful if the filmmakers had emphasized just a little more on the beginning version of Aditya.
The music of this film is as amazing as all the other parts of it. The super fun melody of 'Zagamaga' is not something I will move on for the next many days. Even the other songs throughout the film like 'Angai' being a father's emotional ode to his son, and 'Phulpakhru' which is an expression of love between two people, the entire album of this film makes it even more special.
This has to be one of the funniest Marathi films I have seen in recent times, and also one of the stories that stands out from the crowd. It definitely deserves a theatre watch, please go!❤️
